Right now, the power lies in the hands of Amos, Lee, Letourneau and Smola. Those officers are smart enough to know that if they bucked them then Amos would fire them. That’s him MO. Perkins can’t be stupid enough to think that everyone in the police department and town are happy about the way this was done. Everyone knows that it only took him sucking up to Amos and Lee to get the job. That can’t weigh very well on his conscious. Perkins knows that he has to allow Amos to run the department now or he will be out just like Mullis. So, you wanted it Perkins, just know that we all know who will run the department for you.
