thelonerangerof you are so funny! It would seem a lot of this should never have happened. No ones property should be rezoned without them knowing about it. If property is to be rezoned, notices should be posted and letters sent to the owner and the neighboring propery owners. I also don't understand why the zoning codes for Tyrone are not posted on their web site. Fayette counties are on theirs. Yes, Tyrone is smaller, but wouldn't that mean a whole lot less to have to put on the web site? Or, if they are the same as Fayette counties, just copy and paste? The way things are done here is wrong. We maybe have 10 bussinesses downtown, so how hard can it be to keep them abreast of any changes that would affect them?

To answer your question old beach bear - it wouldn't be hard at all to keep downtown businesses abreast of the plans. But that would mess up Barry's plan too much. He does not want anyone to know what he is doing so no one will challenge - at least until lately no one has had the courage to challenge him. But sorry Barry, with this last travesty involving the new police chief, I don't think you are going to get away with much more!!

To Smartypants - Valerie or Ginger or both - you people don't care that the decisions the town makes affects people's lives and incomes. This is not people whining, it is people uniting and standing up against corrupt, greedy and power hungry government. Soon enough, the 2 of you will be out of the government.

The proof is in the sewer contracts.
