Fayette Commission up to something?

Does anyone else find it suspicious that the county commissioners kind of pulled the redistricting issue out of left field and threw it out there for a quick vote?

How come this deal wasn't reviewed by a citizen committee or something?

Why did the commissioners try to sneak a vote on the new maps at Callaway Gardens where we couldn't see them?

Here we go with the conspiracy theories again. The districts need to be realigned so that there is parity in the population for each district. Nothing is changing except the lines. The three districts need to have the same amount of population as is reasonably necessary, and they do not now.

It is an ever changing situation that needs periodic attention.

Don't make more of this than it really is.
