Flocks of DoDos

Two men were arrested in South Carolina for being suspicious.
The were taken into custody when their car was stopped due to evident suspicion.
The SC Sheriff, Bubba Thumper, said the following (I saw it on TV):
When we questined the two of them after finding some farcrackers stuff in their auto they were suspicious. One guy said some conflicting "things" when he talked, and the other guy wouldn't talk at all.
So, what we have here is one who talks funny, and one who won't talk at all! If either one had done something else besides talking or not talking, we wouldn't have jailed them!
Dick Cheney said it was ok to hold them since they had black short beards and looked suspicious!
SC troopers don't usually stop people in that state for having farcrackers in their vehicle, but Bubbas look somewhat different than these two suspicious dudes.
Anyway the phone calls they made before we stopped them war in nother languidge.
CIA give us that there info.

Reminds me of the fellow many years ago who really did get a good idea about hunting for deer in the woods. He bought a fur looking long coat, put on a deer head with antlers and eye holes, and blew a little whistle that made deer sounds.
He had so many holes in him when they tried to shovel him up, that they finally just buried the remains right there.
Also, once in Alabama, of course, the law set up a stuffed deer in the field off the highway. It had a movable head powered by batteries.
The game warden who was hidden nearby gave out scores of tickets for shooting from pickup trucks at the deer, before the deer fell down due to weakness in it's supports! Even then, some tried to go into the field and carry it off.
Deer hunters are akin to bridal gown shoppers at a sale.

Two Middle Eastern men [Muslim? Ahmed Abda Sherf Mohamed, 24, and Yousef Samir Megahed, 21, both students at the University of South Florida in Tampa] arrested near a Navy base after police found a suspicious item in their car were charged Monday with possession of an incendiary device, authorities said.

Mohamed is a native of Kuwait and Megahed is Egyptian, the sheriff said. Both are in the country legally, [County Sheriff] DeWitt said.

"They admitted to having what they said were fireworks. Based on the officer's judgment at hand, based on what he had seen, we judged it to be other than fireworks," DeWitt said.

The sheriff refused to say what was found in the car but said some items were being analyzed by the FBI.

Ahmed Bedier, the executive director of a civil rights organization for Muslims in Tampa, criticized the arrest as racial profiling, an accusation South Carolina police refuted.

"Definitely this is not related to terrorism," said Bedier, of the Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR].

Officers became suspicious because the men [stopped for speeding] quickly put away a laptop computer and couldn't immediately say what they were doing in the area [near the site of the Naval Weapons Station, which houses the U.S. Naval Consolidated Brig, a military prison where enemy combatants have been held] or where they were going, DeWitt said. [Why were Univ. of FLORIDA students in SC?]

One item found in the car was destroyed by bomb technicians, making a loud bang when it was detonated.

"I would not know how to describe that item," the sheriff said. "We merely know it was an explosive device. There were several items built in that same fashion which were retrieved from the vehicle."

University spokesman Ken Gullette said Mohamed is a civil engineering graduate student who came to the school in January. He earned his undergraduate degree in Cairo and was in the country on a student visa.

Megahed, an Egyptian who has permanent resident status in the United States, is an undergraduate and has been at the university since 2004, but has not declared a major, Gullette said. [Sounds suspicious to me. Who's paying for his years of "education"?]

Only 1 of the explosive devises was detonated. There were several -- not a good idea when traveling at high speeds (or any speed, for that matter) with gasoline underneath. KABOOM!

But I'm sure CAIR will provide them with good (that's questionable, from a moral standpoint) defense lawyers; so, you don't have to worry. You can to bed now and rest -- after you take your meds. Smiling

This DON'T PROFILE is a bunch of total BS....Yeah...In my off time, I always stop by Wal Mart { these 2 Arabs explained} drive a state away, make a pipe bomb and go staight for a US miliary station cause I got nothing better todo! I am GLAD with all the rules we put on the police about being politically correct, they were still able to get these guys. I really doubt that there was any racial profiling done. To most Southerns who've never lived anywhere else, it is extremely hard to tell the difference in a Mexican and an Arab. It is like if you have never been around Asians, it is hard for you to tell the difference between a Chineses, Japanise, or for that matter, someone from Hawaii. These police got em cause they were acting stupid...like I said, on my off time, cruising around military bases, with pipe bombs, just isn't what I want to do. If you were in their country, they would lock you up and throw away the key for much lesser things. They are the ones blinded by hatred, not us. By sticking to this way of thinking of yours, you are part of the problem, not the cure. On those bases were a lot of Blacks as well as Whites, and they might all be dead now. I'm glad someone protected them.

profiling

No, what I'm saying is that to an untrained eye, Hispanic and Arab can look alike. By the end of summer, as it is, a lot of people are dark, I don't think they stopped them cause they could tell they were Arabs. I think they stopped cause they were doing something stupid. The link I enlosed in what I said was an update from a newspaper, showing pictures of them and going on to say they had made themselves a car full of pipe bombs, drove from Flordia, and were indeed Arabs. I think te police got lucky that their nerve failed them and they started acting in such a way, speeding etc, that they were able to check them closer, otherwise we may have picked up to paper to read a far different story.

Here in Fayette we profile against criminals. We don't like them. Most of us have a carry permit for self defense. Except for dollar and bladder the rest of us HATE criminals. I also personally don't care for ebonics. I think riverdale is calling you back......they had exactly 10mins with no gunshots fired. The 911 operators are bored....go back.

Also, if you own a big dog, or look like you might like dog fighting
(talk about how mean dogs can be, kick dogs to see if they will fight, etc.), are an alcoholic (frequent bars), have mean children (they sass), bitchy women (just listen), and politicians (mouth is open all the time).
