Farewell to Mixer

Mixer:

I was distressed to read that you are leaving; especially given the flimsiness of your reasons. You’d leave us just for your family and more money? That’s really hard to believe when you admit you are moving to Ohio. I can’t prove it but I am sure the real reason somehow involves the vast right-wing conspiracy and Diebold voting machines; I just haven’t figured it out yet.

Thanks for the blogs. You upheld your side with the best of them and held forth against the precision, eloquence and logic of my arguments with style; particularly impressive given the lack of substance that you had to work with.

Ohio’s gain is our loss. I am sincerely hoping you move in next to some good liberals who will continue my attempts to ground you in the reality-based community. If not, remember you have a friend just a few mouse clicks away who is ready and willing to counter any of your arguments, no matter how outlandish they be.

We will miss you. Check in with us during the campaign, it’s just getting interesting.

While I thought Mixer was poorly-informed about some local issues, I enjoyed his commentary about national politics.

He seems like a decent enough guy.
