How's your favorite college team going to do this year?

Michael Boylan's picture

It seems like everybody down here has an allegiance to a college football team, so how's your team going to fare?

Will Tech contend for an ACC title without Calvin?
(No.)

Has Stafford improved enough to lead UGA over Florida and in contention for an SEC title?
(Maybe)

How will Bama do with Nick Saban at the helm?
(I don't know, but they'll beat Auburn.)

Will Miami and Florida State get back to the way things used to be with their two teams?
(Yes. Probably.)

Let's talk college pigskin.

There is no way Bama beats Auburn. Despite $40 million and the new "Evil Genius" Nick Saban at the helm, the Tide will not prevail at Auburn this year. The beat goes on for the Tigers as they claim their sixth straight win over the hapless Tide.

since they hired Richt. I would say UGA is a good bet to win 10 again. SEC East is wide open, with UT/UGA/UF all having a legit shot. I could see the SEC winner having 2 losses, the conference is that loaded.

If Spurier can keep his players out of jail they could be a darkhorse in the SEC.

Spurrier needs at least equal or better talent to win. He had better at UF and won (big), he had equal or less at Washington and got hammered. At South Carolina, he's up against it. He might get it done, but South Carolina has ONE 10 season in their history. I see them competing with Kentucky for 4th.
