The bargaining chip!

I think I indicated here several months ago that we would be in Iraq forever, just as we have been in Korea, Germany, Japan, Philippines, etc.
Nobody builds a trillion dollar embassy and military complex in which to escape and defend unless they intend to stay!
We now have the largest embassy in the world in Iraq. It will store in addition to diplomats, thousands of soldiers, weapons, and, yes, it has an unbelievable wall around it.
Additionally, we have a new military base and airport, the airport being as busy as Atlanta's. The base can support several divisions of soldiers and sailors.
What is the bargaining chip? It is not the cost of these bases and embassy. It is that we just announced we need two years more of the same in Baghdad!
Now, compare two years with 3-6 months being demanded by the American people, and one can see a bargaining chip.
We can continue to be fooled even after the two years by upcoming events, I'm sure. We love to be fooled.
Many millionaires will be made upon the backs of our military.
