My Candidate

I thought maybe it was time for me to select a candidate to back for the election as President of the United States.
I don't have any preconceived notions of anything that would disqualify any one of them for me. Not even to which party they belong.
Before I start the eliminations to get to one, I thought maybe I had better think of some things that I would like my candidate to have, or not have.
First, I would like to have a candidate who hasn't been married more than twice. However, if he has been married several times, but supports all of his children, and has never discarded any wives due to sickness on the wife's part, I might reconsider. That is if he only takes one to the White House with him.
Then there is the thing about whom he has hired or recommended before for his or others people's staff as a good hire for the USA. If He were for instance to recommend someone to train the police in Iraq, but failed in the attempt, or was recommended as a cabinet secretary, but is about now to go to jail, then I would be suspicious of that candidate. Also, if he had built a command center for the police and fire departments in a very large building that had already been bombed once by terrorists so that communications were out when it got bombed again, I might be a redneck---no I might be suspicious!
Then if he married a trophy wife maybe 15-30 years younger than himself, I would be suspicious that he may be short on energy---even if the wife was very rich.
If he got very rich as a lawyer, I might put him aside temporarily until I had looked at others.
Also, if for 15 to 25 years he had been a lobbyist in Washington and a movie star, I might remember a guy from General Electric that would sour that for me also.
There are a handful who might run or are running, who don't want to run under a two party system. I don't like that as it is too much like Italy's Parliament.
Then, there a few running whom I never heard of before, except Dennis, that I see no need to waste any time researching.
So, it appears we are down to about two, one for Vice-President, and one for President, who no one would assassinate because of who the Vice-President would was!
Didn't take long to decide, did it?

and that President did nothing when the towers were bombed the first time and then did nothing to capture or kill Osama BL?

Should I/she be President next?

Did she do anything else that might reflect upon her character?

I fell asleep, did I miss anything (YAWN) important or poignant?
