The "Iraqi" "government"

A government consists of two things:
An elected body of people to manage, control, and govern a group of people.
The other thing is that there is something being managed, controlled, and governed.
I am not sure but I will concede that maybe Iraq has a group of elected people, many who have been killed or left since the election, but how can anyone say that any of the following exists in Iraq:
general law and order
food production for themselves at least
oil production to finance their government
power, water, sewer service
a decent national guard
a disciplined army
equipment for the guard and army
an air force, a navy, a coast guard
ability for the three religious forces to govern together
and on and on.

Yet our officials here say we have created a government there!
That is worse that what the FARC has in Colombia!

you said a government consisted of two things, one of which was an elected body of people and I ask where it said the people had to be elected. Having a little short term memory loss there $?

Not sure I know what you mean about election.

It would not apply in Cuba, Saudi Arabia, China, Tailand, Syria, Iran, and a lot of Africa.

Do you want some of those forms of government in Iraq?
