It Could Have All Been Avoided if PTC Council Acted Sooner

Spear Road Guy's picture

I think the real "proof in the pudding" is all of the comments made by the Coweta County Commissioners like "we really need this road" and others. They even held the developer down to 1,000 homes and 150,000 of commercial space until TDK is built or they will do an annual traffic review.

I honestly believe the whole stupid mess could have been avoided if Logsdon and the four monkeys just said no back in January. The Coweta nut-heads probably wouldn't have passed the giant development in the first place.

More than a few people have told me they think killing TDK was an election year hoax and that it's back on the front burner after the election. Hey, with Logsdon's history of avoiding the truth, it's possible.

The 4 "monkeys" on city council? What are you talking about? These people serve their city well and for you to inject race into their performance is very, very racist.

Walk down Spear Road and talk to Jeff and ask him how his father would deal with this. Certainly not as a racist - after all Jimmy was the Gov. after Lester Maddox, well never mind.

So, do you like my new picture? meow

You need to be carefull not to become $. What are YOU talking about?

Not only was Jimmy Carter the gov. after Lester...Lester was his Lt. Gov. Always remember Zell was Lester's long time Chief of Staff.

Why do people keep acting like this whole road idea just started in January.... Several years ago your own peachtree city council insulted the coweta commisioners saying that coweta wasn't doing it's part to get this road started (at that time it seemed ptc wanted the road more than coweta) coweta in return at the next commission meeting set aside the money, and even began to clear the land for the road, they've been waiting for Peachtree city ever since,

I bet that this road has been talked about ever since they wanted to dam Line Creek & the old Coweta guys would not sell.

"Mutt" Hunter Coweta Administrator > Fayette County Administrator > Coweta County Commissioner. It's a good story w/ alot of color.

Bladderq’s Story Idea is Great ---The Life and Times of Mutt Hunter . Yes, the whole thing has been brewing for decades. Mutt Hunter has been an investor, partner and participant in Coweta land development and in FAYETTE DEVELOPMENT groups for years and years along with all the other good ole boys. Perspective--- ole Mutt was in on ground floor before Peachtree Pkwy was even paved past McIntosh Trail. How does a guy from Coweta cash in on Fayette politics? He went from Coweta Commish, to Fayette Public Works/DOT lobbyist and then he became a Fayette County paid “consultant”. And wherever you see ole Mutt, you see his ole buddies---- Westmoreland, Seabaugh, County Attorney Bill McNally, Pathways, etc, etc, etc….We Fayette sleeping taxpayers helped make Mutt the man he is today. He and McNally have been working the road and reservoir udders for years. He is kind of like Georgia Agricultural Commissioner Tommy Irvin. He files bankruptcy. He becomes State Agricultural Commissioner with his name on every gas pump in Georgia and then he becomes a multimillionaire. Coweta may build a statute for Mutt but Mutt needs to build a statute for us dopey taxpayers in Fayette.

That's about how long it's been going on. At least someone finally said, whoa, hold on. Let's think this through.

You need to 6 lane Fisher Rd. Stop relying on everyone else to fix your porblems. Stop being cheap and lazy. Go away you FREELOADERS!

While you are at it start to have your own 4th celebration, quite being so cheap. We don't need your traffic.

Of course the other answer would be to make 54/34 east a toll road. Especially on the 4th of July.

Hey dude,

apparently you have never been to the 4th celebration in newnan,it's large and you can't even get close to the stadium, dude there are over 200,000 folks in the two county area, no matter which celebration you go to it's gonna be crowded....
