Get real TDK isn't dead

I have enjoyed reading all of the rhetoric about TDK. I especially enjoyed watching the Citizens video of the vote and I think its too bad they couldn’t get the entire discussion in the video clip. Why aren’t the council meetings on the government cable channel anyway?

For those who said the mayor and council voted TDK down, please get back into reality. The councilman even said before he made his motion he thought TDK should be built and the mayor wiggled like a fish on a hot frying pan.

The truth is that they didn’t vote the road down at all; hence the “- for now” in the headline. I agree with the people who said the vote was nothing but a PR move.

Logsdon has turned things upside down around here. He and the other unreliable governments are just stealing from the reserve funds to balance their spending. I wouldn’t call that bold leadership. If Logsdon hadn’t made such a big deal out of reducing taxes and strong leadership, it wouldn’t be so bad. He is a horrible public speaker and he shows no confidence at all.

Just you wait, TDK will come roaring back on the scene and Logsdon will be telling everyone there was nothing he could do about it. The guy does have a shadow of dishonesty following him around.

Steve Brown was a much better mayor. I would even take Bob Lenox over Logsdon.

B-I-N-G-O !!

McDonoughDawg has gotten religion ... Logsdon is now our savior. But he sure can't tell us why his mayor didn't vote to kill the project. Once again, the mayor just put the citizens on hold.

RobeMudcat W. Morgan, a Direct PAC loyalist, keeps claiming the developer underground has disbanned. A wise person once told me to when someone tries very hard to convince you that something is not so, it usally is so. No, no, no, all of the other PACer's did not die or move. They are trying to feed the mayor their plan on how to salvage TDK.

Shallow support for a shallow leader.

I'm glad that you were exposed to a wise person once in your life - obviously a long time ago. The wise person's observations were and are true. Your's however are very narrow-minded, useless and not even entertaining. You need a new theme or a makeover or something. How about changing your focus from "there is a developer behind every tree" to something more topical - like what our lives will be like under President Hillary. That's actually possible.

So, do you like my new picture? meow

Mudcat is missing the point, there is a developer behind every city hall, not every tree. Trees don't vote on developer pork projects.

The Mudcat point of view is like saying PCDC never had any influence in Peachtree City, yeah right. Why do you think Logsdon worked so hard to get Doug Mitchell his $1 million on the airport/TDK deal?

I have been told that all of the TDK developers have ties to the Fayette County chamber of commerce and several election campaigns. I have to agree with Johenry about the greedy developers working behind the scenes.

Some developers even have their wives fooled.
