Stop lap dancing with Mayor Logsdon

Does anyone really believe the PTC council vote on TDK? They're just trying to get the public to back down.

I believe the council said the road is on "hold" which means it can come back at any time. I love the part about the city council "unofficially" signaling the Fayette County Commission (oh how weak). Why wouldn't the city officially tell the county commission?? This is another smoke screen! Coweta County will make all kinds of promises and then everyone will jump back into action building the extension.

Oh no, there's a 2009 deadline for the right of way!!!! Get real, remember the phony FAA deadline for the purchasing the right of way?? Oh yeah, it was in writing too and they sealed the deal around 60 to 90 days after the fact. Pathway needs that road so don't think for a second they are going to kill it.

The Direct PAC guys are claiming that Mayor Logsdon is not in the developers' back pockets and the TDK vote proves it - give us all another break! He tried to hold the vote up. The mayor’s fondness of lying means we shouldn’t believe a word the guy says (Do the Direct PAC guys remember “I will reduce the budget and roll back taxes,” I sure do.)

This is just an election ploy by by Direct PAC on behalf of Stuart Kourajian and Judy Rutherford to get the voters to believe they mean no harm. If they want us to believe them, they ought to kill the project. No votes for Stuart and Judy in 2007 until they officially kill the TDK project.

You think the Council should have gone on with TDK? You were unhappy with the past path they were taking on TDK, so they drastically change said path, and you're still at odds?!?

Judi-Ann and Stuart may be up for reelection, but why would anyone want to vote for them? All they have done is go along with Harold's stupid ideas without advancing any of their own.

Unless you consider Judi-Ann's motion to kill TDK which the lunatic fringe has been begging for - so there! Done deal! Happy now?

One voted for the annexation and one did not. How does that stack up?

And of course, the big question johenry, who should we or you get to run against them? Who has a better voting record? Who can do a better job. A recycled discraced mayor? A red-headed discraced city council person? A neophite? Tell us who is going to beat them in an election and why.

By the way Direct PAC is dead and gone. The spiritual leader is actually dead, the political leader has moved out of town, the publicity guy has moved out of state and the organizational guy (one of my former neighbors) does not care at all. Blame someone else for your shortcomings.

Ask the following questions:
Who owns the road land?
Who would get some benefit from a large village across in Coweta County on such road?
How much additional business would the businesses and landowners get on the Fayette side of TDK bridge?
How much business would the Fayette concrete suppliers, building materials, design fees, real estate sales, lawyers, doctors, etc., get from across the bridge?
You are correct about this whole vote by council being a fake-out.
It might delay the start somewhat, but not much, considering the fact that not many sales could happen across the bridge until we complete 74, Crosstown, Peachtree Parkway, and other outlets for the traffic.
