Some good stuff

There are many problems with our country lately, but that can be discussed separately. Worse than the problems though is our desire to solve them is non-existent. I just don't know how long all this can last, considering the situations that now exist.
Never-the-less, We still do have many things that we can appreciate daily.
My air conditioning works almost all of the time as long as I can afford to pay for its repair and power. I eat very well, anything I want, nearly. As long as I can continue to pay for it.
I have the clothes I need and could buy more if I were a clothes horse. My children are educated and have jobs and none are in jail. I am not healthy but do have good health insurance.
I still worry about this wonderful country and its future, considering how it has been run in the last decade.

I have a desire to solve our problems, I lack the means. I am but one person with no network or political power, so I can only change the way I raise my own child and future children, and that is what I'm doing. From where I sit, that's all I can do. To quote Dr. Phil (he can be good sometimes!) "The older generation complains about the younger generation like they had NOTHING to do with it!" What are you doing to change the situation, Dollar?

A charlatan if there ever was one. Makes his living on poor, desperate, unattractive, no-gooders, by chewing them out in front of the world.
What did I do for the world? I worked every day of my life at something. I felt naked without some kind of job, even when I was ill.
I made do on low salaries and lived within my means until I could do better. I always asked for better jobs, and did the job as long as it was legal and moral.
I taught my kids the same stuff by never going on welfare or accepting any other gifts. No free cheese and macaroni for me.
I worked 70-80 hours per week when necessary without complaining.
I started my own business just to see if I could by very hard work make it go. It did. I sold it.
I know some disadvantaged people need help, but only when they are willing to work.

Dollar, you never fail to amaze me. I have NEVER HAD GOVERNMENT AID. MY CHILD had WIC, but as soon as he was off the bottle, I stopped getting it, I didn't NEED it any more, so I didn't accept it. Myself and my husband are BOTH willing to work, but in a world that has little room for mothers who actually care about raising their children right instead of letting the schools and daycares do it for them, well, I'm just out of luck. My husband CAN'T WORK, his back injury is something we deal with every day. Do you think HE doesn't feel "naked without some kind of job?" Well, I'm here to tell you, he definately doesn't enjoy it. You DON'T KNOW ME, you don't know what I stand for, and what I believe in, so don't you DARE try to pretend that you do. You are a SAD HUMAN BEING. GET THERAPY!
