Here We Go Again

SouthernBelle's picture

So, I'm back...for a while, anyway. Stop reading now if you don't want to know about my life and what's going on in it. Dollar, that means you; you tend to comment on things when they don't inspire bickering and differences of opinions, so you can stop reading now. Basically, what's happened since I last posted is pretty much this: I started a job I thought would be pretty decent. I was taken by ambulance to Spalding Regional on April 20th for what the EMT's thought was a stroke (I'm 23 years old!) and it turned out that my potassium levels dropped into the "dangerous" levels and that's why my heart was acting up and my body went numb; it happened very suddenly, anyways, I was in the hospital for one day. Two weeks later, I ended up with pneumonia, staph, mono, and a sinus infection. Because I missed a day of work, I was terminated. Sucks, but it may prove to be a blessing in disguise. We were considering a move to Augusta, then, got word that we may have cause to move to Savannah. I was born at Hunter Army Air Field, but I've never been back there. Never been to Savannah except when I was born. (We PCSed when I was about 4 months old) So, that's it, and if you don't care about what I'm saying, don't bother to post the fact; I'm just writing, not asking you to care. My little boy has a few new tricks and words, which makes me SOOO happy. I love it when he gets a new word, trick or phrase. Lately, he's started telling on himself when he has something he's not supposed to have. He'll come running in the room with said object and proceed to do the deep "GASP" and say "HERE!" like he's trying to get it out of his hands just as quickly as possible and he just can't figure out how it got there to begin with! Its quite hysterical. He says "EEEEEW" now too. Anyways, those are just a few of the things going on around SouthernBelle's house. Hope everybody is doing well and chugging along!

Are you moving to Savannah for a new job or your husbands new job?

Anyway I wish you the best. I thought everything was going great for you since we hadn't heard from you in awhile.

I am thinking of moving there when I retire. It is what I think the south was ment to be.....very beautiful.

Job. Did you say job? Man, I want to live in a beautiful place on welfare and unemployment. Don't say that nasty word, job!
What happened with the lawyer's advice you got? Did he get you a job with lawyers?
Trying to tell lawyers, in business for themselves, what cases to take is akin to telling Walmart what you want them to sell their goods for to poor people, but not to rich people. You won't last long.
Might I suggest that you and your husband knit or quilt things.

Why do you hate me? YOU DON'T KNOW ME! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO RANT ABOUT THINGS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!

Sheeessshhh what is it with you? Why do you hate this woman so much?

I only hate on criminals and our councilFOOLS, both those groups of people beg for it daily. What did this woman do to you?

We know dollar has no idea about a lot of things. That hasn't stopped her yet. This blog site seems to be all the friends or hobbies dollar has.

I don't know where dollar gets the "con" game from ....you have never asked any of us for anything. Sheeesh, I'm usually the most cynical one on here.

I wish you the best.

There is no hate involved. I don't even know her. It is just so obvious to me that she is a con artist.

that I'm a con artist, what, pray tell, am I trying to get from you or anyone else on here? That's what I thought, I haven't asked for a single thing; oh wait, that's right, prayers and such....well, I apologize for encroaching.....

After all, it's better to be suspected as a con artist than to be repeatedly proven a jackass by your own words, like one individual has done on this site.

By the way, I was glad to see from your bio that you live in Senoia. Last month, when I was speeding in a school zone and some young lady yelled at me to slow down, I yelled something rude back, then I realized she looked just like your picture. I thought "oh ****, I just yelled at SouthernBelle!" I'm glad that wasn't the case. If you've read the comments in the free speech section about the speed limit on Robinson Rd, that would probably be me they were talking about.

Well anyway, I hate to see you go. Best of luck in your upcoming move.

I'm somewhat known in my area (East Coweta, closer to Haralson) for screaming at speeding cars...lol. That was probably not me you yelled at, but I do have a tendency to scream at passing cars. What's funny is that when I first moved back to Georgia from Germany, I got a speeding ticket within a week of being back. I told the judge I had just moved back, and he dropped my fine to only $75.00! (I was going 76 in a 55 at 11:00 at night in dry conditions, so it wasn't that bad!) But anyways, now that I have a child, I tend to be MUCH more cautious. The kids in my subdivision also have a tendency to run out into the road without looking, so I always yell at cars going too fast. You're right about $, he's so unkind. I really do try to do unto others and such, but with folks like $, they almost beg you to beat the bejesus out of em! And just so you know, I probably won't be gone per se, even if I do move. I like this site, it has good juju. Thanks for being kind to me!

Just ignore the old fool, he feeds off this stuff. Do you think there is a Mrs. Dollar or did she run screaming into the night years ago.

I think Mrs. Dollar ran screaming into the night, she screamed something about "I can't take it any more!" He does feed off this stuff.

It is up in the air as to WHY we are moving there. I don't really have any reason to stay where I am, neither does my husband. I lost my job, my husband hasn't worked since November of 2005 because of his back, and he's waiting on the VA to let him enroll in college to get back into the surveying industry without being out in the field. (He hurt his back, don't know if you're familiar with all that, but that's been a LONG battle) I really thank you for your well wishes, it means a lot. Everything was great for a little while, I missed the heck out of my little boy, but I was okay for a while, then the stuff hit the fan, I guess you could say. I agree with you about Savannah being beautiful, I've seen a lot of pictures, my parents pictures, and it looks beautiful! I am just the kind of person who holds her head up, and looks at the bright side, usually. I'm just going to fly by the seat of my pants until stuff falls into place, hopefully it will soon, I hate flying by the seat of my pants! It makes me feel a little unstable, or out of control! Anyways, if you move to Savannah, we'll have to get the local paper there to start something like this! We'll meet back up on that blog!

If true, I wish you better.
Might I ask however If you mean you were fired for missing the one day in the hospital, or all those deadly diseases you caught two weeks later (four of them I think)?
You sound a little like the Atlanta lawyer trying to explain why he thought it was ok to travel with TB.

SouthernBelle's picture
Submitted by SouthernBelle on Wed, 06/06/2007 - 8:02pm.

Didn't I ask people who didn't care not to post?

The "deadly diseases" I had were anything but deadly because I went to the doctor and got treatment. The type of antibiotic I was given treated all the infections. Not that its any of your business. Another thing: My mother had TB as a child. Her type was hereditary. There are only two known cases in the US of hereditary TB. Hers and her brothers; again, not that it was any of your business, but TB is NO JOKE. If I had thought the people I worked for would hold my job I never would have tried to go back to work sick. But, being the lawyer types that they were, I knew that if I missed any more work they would fire me. They're that way, they have a business to run, I get it. Thank you for your backhanded "get well" wish, even if it was backhanded.

You never fail to make me grin like the Cheshire Cat, you know that?! I'm feeling like I can keep up with the world now, its been a while since I felt like that, and it started on Saturday, so I'm enjoying the world of the living now! Mono KICKED my rear! I've had it twice before, so I knew what it was before I even went to the doctor, when she did the bloodwork, she was like, "Um, you have a little more than mono, sweetie!" Anyways, so yeah, I'm much better now, I even ventured out of the house yesterday! I went all the way to Lowes in Newnan, and the Wal-Mart! Woo Hoo! I would have LOVED to share my mono with my former employers, they were not the kindest people I ever worked for, but they taught me a lot. I'm too much of a softie, that I know now... every application we got for public defense, I was like, "Oh, we can approve them right?!" and they would be like, "mmm, No!" So yeah, I'm too nice to work with divorce, and public defense. I think I will like Savannah, I've always wanted to go back there. My mom needs me closer, too. So that would help her out, too. Anyways, thanks for the NOT backhanded well wishes!

Even though I'm a week away from my 25th anniversary, I learned early if you want the girls to like you, you gotta make 'em laugh.
Keep on laughing it's the best medicine.

Hutch, I believe you are right, laughter is wonderful and I do it as much as possible, which is pretty easy with a ham of a two year old! Congrats on the upcoming anniversary. My parents have made it 32 years, I've only seen them fight twice! Amazing...but anyways, I hope you go 25 more, it is so worth it. You are also right about the ladies! We can't be kept without a whole lotta good laughs!

I'm sorry but I have never believed you were real. Too many problems which you feel like throwing out. I've got more problems than you have! I don't feel the need to discuss them here. If you are joking however, keep it up. I like such stuff.

You are so very misguided. I'm not going to have a peeing contest with you about who's got more or worse problems, you simply aren't worth it. I will, however, tell you that JeffC has spoken to me on the phone, ask him if I'm real. Would you feel better if you saw me at the Senoia Coffee Company with my nose in a book and a mocha in my hand? (Oh, how I wish I was there with a good book right now instead of arguing my "reality" with you, alas, I'm pajama bound, so I'm going nowhere tonight) Have you ever considered that I discuss my "problems" on here because its SAFE? I can't stand myspace, there are too many freaks of nature on there, its just not safe. I LIKE this website and this blog and MOST of the people on here. THAT'S why I like to talk about my "problems" on here. What's your problem with that?!?!
