Complaints of famous people's kids

I find it hard to understand the complaints of the children of famous people. Many of them say that they live a life under extreme pressure and find it hard to live up to what is expected of them.
It seems to me that if they don't like such a life, or don't want to use the influence they have to make a living with the fame, that they would get an ordinary job, keep quiet and get married and raise their children away from such prominence.
I just can't buy the complaints. Several families come to mind, the most prominent being the Hiltons and the Kings. There are scores of others.
They usually buy their way into something they would like to be famous for but for which they don't have the ability or talent.
Actors, actresses, TV personalities, etc.
They often think that great hordes of people expect them to live up to expectations when no such desire exists from these people. More likely they are criticized by the majority for scrounging.

I could not agree more. What most famous people’s kids don’t accept, but which I can attest as a fact, is that the talent usually skips a generation.

I think you're to modest Jeff, you get your points across without the ranting and raving most of us resort to. I don't think you would ever hurt anyone's feelings on purpose which right there sets you above the majority of the bloggers on the site, as you can be proud of your father, he can also be proud of you as he has raised a proper southern gentleman in you.

I'm sure it had its ups and downs.

I only had to deal with the State Dept. & CIA growing up.

I had a 'cake-walk' compared to what you had.

Although being a 'brat' on Andrews had its moments.
