PTC parents not the only ones to raise SPOILED children

At approximately 11:30 p.m., Schmutzer said, Mullins was at a red light in his Ford Mustang "squealing his tires" as Phillips sat in his red Dodge Viper "revving his engine and inching up a little."

The parents of the girl that died and the girl that was horribly injured should be able to sue the parents of these two for buying them or letting them drive these cars.

Maybe they should have bought these two guns instead of cars. It would have been safer for everyone.

What parent, in their right mind, turns a kid loose with a 500 HP, $75,000 car?

And here I thought that only PTC parents raised "poor little rich kids".

Not sure what the point of the original post was. Obviously, the 39 y/o parents didn't buy him a $75,000 - 500ho Viper but maybe they did. As far as the 19 y/o in the Mustang, there are alot of cars that'll go fast enough to do some serious damage to a stopped Honda.

You know that the kid didn't buy the car.

Instead of slowing down or steering his black Mustang away from traffic, 19-year-old Bradley Mullins kept drag racing down a busy street, close to 125 mph. He crashed into the girls' car with "so much force that it drove the Honda almost the length of a football field" and caused the gas tank to explode.

Mullins' attorney aid the tragic accident was not the result of a conscious choice, but of a series of events like the 1991 northeaster referred to as "the perfect storm."

Conscious choice? How about driving at 125 mph? How about fleeing from the police? What irresponsibility!

One of my friend's younger sister was killed in a fiery wreck. This has to be one of the most painful experiences for parents, especially identifying the body. I saw their intense suffering up close. What a tragic loss of life.

Wonder how the survivor is? In my friend's situation, there was a survivor, also, and she felt tremendous guilt about surviving. Just a natural response. All so unnecessary.
