Fair Tax?

An article today in the AJC asks the question: How much money would Neal Boortz save on his tax payments under the so called "fair tax?"
I don't know, anyone know?
Also noticed that Martha Stewart had a group of Atlanta ladies on her show. She is involved in a housing scam in Atlanta and needed the publicity. Why do these women worship her? She is a crook and went to jail for cheating on the stock system! All the women had to say about being on the showwas how clean the set was.
I have come to the conclusion that AFA10 and Denise (bloggers) are one and the same, or, they have a thing going. No one can agree with everything.
First thing you know AFA10 will be bragging about Ann Coulter's virtues.

I think they pay more than their fair share, and we have folks who want to penalize them even more. I think taxes are out of hand.

Do you really think his involvement with this issue is all about what HE pays?

Assuming that Neal Boortz made over $200,000 per year, the Treasury department estimates that Boortz would save about 7.6% on his taxes per year. People under $15,000 per year would pay no tax, people making over $200K per year would get a 7.6% tax break, and the net tax rate of everyone making between $15,000 and $200,000 would go UP.

I think your numbers: those making over 200,000 dollars would pay at least 8% less taxes than now; under 15,000, pay SS only; everyone else would pay considerably more (the middle class).
That all assumes that they would collect all of it, which they of course won't.
Big blow hards aren't supposed to share their millions!
I estimate Boortz makes maybe one million every year, which means he would save 80,000, plus he doesn't eat anymore than I do, so he would save also on the 30% sales tax.
