Well, lets assume it would be worthwhile, for purposes of discussion only, that most wall mounters could be stopped as you described.
The stats are this: 3000 miles to cover; 12 soldiers per mile times three shifts per day, plus a week-end and vacation crew = 144,000 soldiers; (does not include east and west coast by boat, and Canada).

Currently they use helicopters to drop some of them in Canada.
The general rule for support of 144,000 troops is about the same number (144,000) most of which would be Halliburton.

That makes 288,000 heads except the Halliburton people make about $200,000 each instead of the $40,000 the GIs get.

Of course recreation along the wall about every 10 miles would be required. This means power, water, and supply lines, and storage buildings.

Now, barracks for the soldiers would have to be built and utilities provided---Halliburton would cook, I assume.

A new railroad could be built along the entire line to help support all this but it might be a victim of suicide bombers!

I really do think the only way to really handle the situation is to not have anything here that the illegals want.
