Reaching the tipping point in PTC and Fayette

The East Coweta developers are so energized by the PTC council’s not stopping TDK that they were dancing in the hallways after the Coweta commission gave them approval.

The indecisiveness of our bumbling city council is opening the door to these types of massive projects up and down our border. We are going to get smashed with the aid of Mayor Logsdon while the council just sits there with their deer-in-the-headlights gaze.

I think we are reaching to point of no return. The number of cars and trucks generated by the East Coweta development landslide is going to overwhelm us. TDK will pump it all right into Peachtree City.

I read on the website where the city council couldn’t even make a decision on the Lowes big box and postponed it until June.

No leadership, no vision and no intelligence from this council.

You point out exactly what I've been saying all along. Despite my looks (which substract credibility), I've been saying that what we lack in PTC is LEADERSHIP. Don't get me wrong, I am not necessarily agains growth, and growth in Coweta we cannot prevent. Our "leaders" are unable to have an integrated vision, PTC and Fayette do not exist in a vaccuum, whatever happens in Coweta, Clayton and South Fulton is going to affect us. I know thoughts of mass transit(GRTA buses, light rail or a commuter service between PTC and the MARTA airport station) and transforming Hwy 74 into a freeway may bring nightmares to all of us, but I predict that unless we take the lead in trying to influence or shape these options for the betterment of PTC, they will happen and will be managed by outsiders, to our detriment. Same goes for thre TDK bridge and road. mark my words: This will come to happen, regardless of whatever. I know for a fact the powerful forces behind it. Enormous development in Coweta (McIntosh, Fischer, etc, etc) will mark and dictate traffic patterns in PTC, wheter we like it or not. Again, we don't exist in a vaccum and we cannot build walls around us or request visas to get into PTC. Wake up, PTC!!! wake up Fayette County!!! If current leadership cannot take us thru the impending cahnges to our way of life, we need to stand up and do something!

When are they UP for re-election? Who do you mean? It doesen't matter because they are ALL Republicans.
ALL of the Coweta Commission. ALL of the Fayette Commission. ALL of the PTC Council. (I am guessing on all this, but believe I am correct). Kathy Cox, Let's teach, uhhh? Well, just be sure it's gawd's word. Westmoron, I know 2 of the 10 but me & the Little Lady have been married 36 yrs and Let's git rid of that annoying left over from the Nixon era...the EPA.
I won't even go to Isakson & Cham(kiss my)liss, the War is right. & of course Scrub...Stay the course.
Keep Voting Republican. You are getting what you deserve.
It is a sad fact most of us have more in common w/ a black Congressman from Harlem that served on the ground in Korea; than our rich, frat-boy, Harvard MBA, TX oilman, business failure (traded Sosa), President.

If a surge is needed...Send in the TWINS (or that good lookin' nephew).
