Inflation: Lies!

The administration releases reports indicating 2-3% inflation rates.
I have noticed for several years now much greater raises in prices than those numbers. I suspect some "cooked books."
A few examples: Gas from $.79 per gallon to an average of $2.72 per gallon today in the USA; today, a dozen, just glazed, donuts at Publix for $5.00, about three years ago I bought several dozen for $1.75. Also: Home prices are up 70% in last five years, making your taxes be up 70%. Don't tell me my house is worth more, it ain't for sale.
We won't even talk about medical costs and services. They are up so much in this administration that I couldn't even begin to estimate how much.
Looks like another congressional hearing is due.

Nothing but rhetoric in your post. Please state your understanding of the “real” inflation rate and your sources. Also, where are you seeing a 70% increase in home values?

Not only do they lie about inflation, but about unemployment.
The real rate of people being gainfully employed is about 45%. Means unemployment is really 55%.
Just count retirees, both military and civilian who just piddle, prisoners, teenagers, those who quit looking for work after unemployment compensation ran out, those on the tax payrolls who do little, and scores of other categories the government doesn't count.
Folks, 45% of us support the other 55%.

Well, if you want to count kids under 13 it gets much worse.
I did count bankers as being employed, however. Even the millions of lawyers!
By the way hutch, do you know anyone who works at making a product that one cn use---not a piece of paper? People who just "serve" one another don't count.
