Guns in cars and gambling at underground ATL

We really are sending nutcases to Georgia government! Either that or they want a payoff somewhere along the way.
The house voted to allow us to carry a loaded gun in our car that is hidden, and ATL wants gambling allowed in underground to pay for Grady Hospital.
Some African-Americans do have Indian blood, including Oprah, so...
Think of the consequences: running gun battles between cars, and a gambling den in addition to many "Long Branches" in underground.
We are 50 in schools, and will be 51 in common sense if we do this!

Freedom in our Republic comes with very special obligations, mainly responsibility. Responsible gun owners recognize that if they are to sustain their goals of protecting themselves and their families that a firearm is a necessity and is of little value tucked away in a safe at home.

Most suburban citizens, many of whom are responsible gun owners, spend hours each week in their automobiles including daily commutes and countless errands. To be unarmed in some of the areas traversed is foolishness of the highest order.

I applaud our legislators for ensuring that employers cannot dictate the contents of locked automobiles to employees, thus denying workers the protection of legal firearms during their routine travels.

kind of hard to shoot your gun if it's hidden wouldn't you say?

that a Police Officer was shot by a law abiding citizen carrying a gun? Seems to me the Public would be worried about crininals with guns, not law abiding citizens. The criminals already have concealed weapons.

As to the Casino in underground, can you say money maker?

I only half agree with the legislation. I am a licensed firearm carrier, and I carry. I would rather have a gun and not need to use it than need to use it and not have it. As far as gambling goes, that would be a no go for me.

I think I'll take that as a compliment. I've never been to Mike and C's. What's there?
