What's it all about?

The Atlanta news channels constantly carry a piece every week about a sheriff candidate who, although elected, had not legally assumed office, has a family who wants to be paid what he would have made in salary and benefits if he had been sworn in and served.
I don't think that even occurs for a legitimate policeman who is killed on duty! Why aren't they suing the person who had the person killed? What is it all about?
Also, the news constantly carries news of a "no-knock" death of a person who shot at the police when they entered and then the police killed her. People now get together, call the press, and complain about the "no-knock" policy about once per week. In a drug atmosphere, it is nonsence to knock on a door and wait to be let in. There won't be any drugs there then. Is what they want: no entry into a private home at all, unless called? Mistakes or crooked cops are a seperate matter.
What is it all about?

It is all about black on black crime, and pulling the race card. If you have been in Atlanta for even one year you should know this.

What has black on black crime and a race card got to do with what I said?
What do these people really want? What are they saying in plain English? Why do they want something highly unusual? Is it strictly for attention, knowing they aren't going to get what they ask for? Why do they want the attention? To make people hesitate in the future when it comes to dealing with them?
Is it all about reparations for the past? Just how much money would it take to satisfy every one of them? This is a sad and pitiful thing to witness. I've seen the same person put on a "show" for the camera at one time, and speak as if they graduated Emory at another time! What is it all about? Ever seen Jessee do that?
