"Stay the course" isn't working Mayor Logsdon

Here we go again! Peachtree City getting slapped over the head over TDK.

“So far the city has paid about $500,000 towards the project including design work, and Mayor Harold Logsdon said the city will not pay any more. Although local governments are allowed to overrule GRTA decisions for projects in their jurisdiction, Peachtree City cannot do that because the requirement stems from the 3,000-home McIntosh Village project planned for Coweta County."

"The city still has to do some more design work and must confirm that the county owns the remaining land necessary for the road approach to the bridge, said City Attorney Ted Meeker. Once the design and right-of-way acquisition are complete, the project can be turned over to Fayette County, which has agreed to build the bridge and part of the road.”

Ah oh! We were told the city council was not going ahead with the road right now. The city attorney is already talking about getting the county building the bridge.

“Coweta County opposed Peachtree City’s appeal on the bridge width, and Poole noted that the city never came to Coweta to discuss its growth.”

Why in our wildest dreams would we want to build TDK into a county where their leaders show no signs of concern for our well being at all? We look like total fools.

Thank you for being passionate and willing to speak out against these people who want to rob us of our quality of life.

Boy oh boy the news today will ruin your lunch hour. There’s going to be a run on the supply of Tums at the Eckerds.

You’ve got to laugh at how uptight Mudcat has become now that their Direct PAC puppet is fouling things up. He’s coughing up some huge hair balls when he reads the newspaper every week.

The mayor has really charged the locals with all of the development nonsense we don’t like. When Mudcat is a key advisor you should expect a few bumps in the road. Actually, you can expect some deep, sharp cliffs in the road with no warning signs.

I've been out training for the Paranoia 5K Fun Run to find a cure for Mudcat.

Vote Republican
