Over development and your homeowner's association: act now

I found the contact information for the gentleman who is organizing all of the homeowner's associations officers into a large group to speak out on large development projects which are detrimental to our community.

Paul Von Hoft (770) 487-6605

This effort has a lot of promise. Call your HOA president and make sure your subdivision is involved.

The original Dec meeting was heavily represented by Planterrea residents & Steve Brown (who I voted for hoping for a run-off).
There seemed to be a difference of opinion about whether HOA presidents & boards were elected to make decisions about lawn care or greater issues like Big Boxes. Some in my area might want to shop at a Big Box and elected board members would do them a disservice to say they speak for them. I do think they can use the bully pulpit if they choose and allow their newsletters to pass along info.
The fact that it has taken a month for this info to show up on the blog page makes me realize how insular it really is...mostly 3 old maids.
Maybe the paper will cover the meeting tonite @ 7.

Oh yea, Keep Voting Republican...they need the money.

It took you almost 1 hour and a 1/2 to reply. I'll have to go see what innane jaborwaky was going on over there.
