The Direct Pac cat obviously doesn't read the newspaper. According the local papers, Coweta County will make around $1 billion out of the deal. Peachtree City, on the other hand, will end up with millions of dollars in unbudgeted road improvements to handle the burden. I think the newspaper said 8 out of the 12 improvements were not previously considered or funded.

If you don't like it, yell at the newspapers for covering the council meetings. It's so sad that mudcat and the others are willing to defend Harold Logsdon and TDK all the way to the city's demise. Your mayor has done an excellent job of making you look totally foolish.

I guess you decided no one in PTC will make any money out of TDK, so now you divert attention to Coweta County making "Billions" did you say? Whatever.

And then, the Direct PAC attack. I guess I figured out what others already know - you are Steve Brown and you have a lot of time on your hands.

Just so everyone knows, my significant other was a Direct PAC pusher and a good one. It has been disbanded for over a year and does not exist - except possibly in the fertile mind of Steve Brown.

The attacks about someone making money out of TDK is unfounded, not provable and point to the author's insecurity about his manhood and his own inability to earn a decent living to support his family.

Why does Peachtree City/Fayette County have to possess the world’s only cat with intelligible schizophrenia? The mentally queasy and physically nauseous Mudcat is having another Steve Brown is everywhere episode. When Harold Logsdon starts screwing things up, Mudcat starts hissing like the devil himself.

The ailing Mudcat has accused no less than 37 bloggers on this site of being Steve. The guilt rooting through Mudcat's subconscious mind for supporting TDK and the development authority bums has him yelling Steve’s name at cars passing by.

By the way, about your wife, what is a “Direct PAC pusher” exactly? If you don’t know how to answer Mudcat, ask the voices in your furry little head.

You really shouldn’t have your ego so closely attached to Mayor Logsdon as it will just make your condition worse.

My significant other is one - not my wife, maybe my husband. Nevertheless, a Direct PAC pusher is one who drums up a real or imagined need for his product and then fufills that need by supplying the product - much like a drug dealer.

In the Direct PAC case the need was ABB caused by weariness and embarrassment over Brown's self-centered and immature behavior and inept leadership (lightly sprinked with good ideas and a grasp of some issues).
The product was 4 people running against him.
The high was the landslide defeat of Brown.
The hangover is Logsdon - mostly honest and well-intentioned, but boring and not a real strong leader. Boone is part of the hangover as well - swept in accidently as Rapson was swept out on Brown's coattails.

And with mission accomplished, Direct PAC does not exisist - other than as a memory in the minds of no more than 50 people who really did make a difference last year.

Yes indeed, the Direct PAC isn’t whining in the newspapers anymore, but they have now turned their attention to raking in all the development and annexation spoils. Group VI and Pathway have had a banner year. It’s pretty clear they own Harold Logsdon.

I admitted months ago that I supported Mayor Harold. My reasons were tax reduction and a stop to the political fighting. I was stupid enough to actually believe the mega-hype on Logsdon having the financial talent to make things happen. Harold Logsdon is as bright as a piece of granite, and shows no sign of standing up for the public good. At least I had the guts to admit I made a big mistake.

The Direct PAC people like Mudcat have no guts at all. Worst of all for the PAC people is they are going to be remembered as the thieves who stole our quality of life and changed our city in a negative way. After TDK, getting to the airport is going to be a joke. Thank you Direct PAC.

Direct PACer’s Robert W. Morgan and Idontknow are already trying to convince everyone that a $500 to $850 future tax increase is a good thing. How dim-witted is that?

Stuart Kourajian was right about the whole mess we’re in. He said the city is being bullied by the developers. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that Direct PAC was a developer mouthpiece.

Mudcat and his brood of greedy misfits brought us Harold Logsdon, the worst leadership in Fayette County history, yes, even worse than Herb Frady. Their continued backing of the "non-leader" makes them look like fools.

Maybe we can start a Paranoia 5K Fun Run to raise money to find a cure for Direct PAC's guilt and shame. All of the runners can point at motionless objects and yell “that’s Steve Brown” until they reach the finish line.

Very entertaining post by Spear Road Guy. It goes without saying that this forum is lots of noise and few votes. Apathy is a way of life in PTC. When you go out on the scenic cart paths of Peachtree City enjoying the pastoral beauty of flora and fauna through the woodlands and wetlands, you will be greeted politely by passersby. Fasten your seat belts---- substantially less than 10% of these fine people vote. Many are not even registered. Spear Road Guy is correct. This has been a banner year for the Logsdon, Pace and Westmoreland cartel. Our PTC “Master Plan” has been emasculated. Our geographic proximity to the airport is useless with the tsunami wave of Coweta traffic being dumped on Highway 74. Logsdon and Pace, with their Big TDK Lie, have done even the infamous Joseph Goebbels proud. You can stick a fork in PTC; its done.
Stuart ? He is running for Mayor. He could care less about PTC. We saw him so often the month before the election, I thought he was gonna invite us over for Sunday supper. Ain’t seen him since. He has stood by in a silent coma while most of this bad stuff was rammed through.

I'll go lay back down in my corner. No use debating these "Justifiers Of Corruption". They're blinded by the comforts they enjoy from their ill gotten gains. Maybe I should take the easy path and start hosing the taxpayers. Perhaps I could start by certifying my company as a WBE. Perhaps rely on some of my contacts in the county to get me a comfy and profitable contract that I half a$$ fulfill so I can prosper off of other people's money.
