Falcons, Atlanta and Fulton police

Any football team that can't get enough touchdowns to beat the other team, loses! A couple of dropped passes or missed tackles, usually happens in most games. They are not usually the reason you lose. Anyway I can't ever imagine Brett Favre fingering toward the crowd after losing. He also throws the ball quite often to a spot where there is no one, but someone usually shows up there at the right time to catch it. All the prancing and dancing and waiting for full clearance makes for a ball thrown too straight and hard. The Falcons have Bravesitis: too much money into one or two players, too little into many others. If the taxi squad is pitiful, then injuries do play a role.
All this fault belongs with a coach on the field and also an unneeded hardware magnate standing beside him.

The Atlanta and Fulton police seem to take week about in the screw-up business. I don't want to waste your time listing all these dumb things that happen, but let me just day that when a new leader is hired for these positions it seems to me that the objective is to hire someone who makes a lot of money and has "petered out" where he was (peter principle)they pay him or her outrageous salaries and give them insufficient goals to earn it. Like the school superintendent up there gets $400,000 approximately, with the worst schools in the world---being given bonuses for normal attrition! No contracts upon hiring, fire them in one or two years if necessary.

You're probably one of the fans that was booing midway through the 2nd quarter and the majority of the 2nd half. I can't say that I agree with what Vick did but at the same time I can't say that I blame him either for his obvious disgust with the crowd on Sunday. I was brought up never to boo your own team, no matter how bad things got. I imagine I would have had a few choice words for the crowd as well! As far as the dropped passes, they WERE the difference in that game Sunday and it's not like Sunday is the first time we've seen that this season. Bench all those wide receivers and put in the guys that don't make the big bucks. I bet THEY will catch those passes...

Make Vick the slot man - Like Hines Ward is - so his athleticisim can help us. He sucks as a quarterback.

As far as giving the finger - look at where he was he first day of pre-season - at the funeral of his close friend who was killed in a drug deal gone bad. You're now shocked?? He's a freaking thug - not as bad as his little brother - but he is damn sure no Payton Manning!

True dat!

My children, and one of my grandchildren were at the Falcon game Sunday.
According to them the people around them were booing the receivers.

The Falcons need more players like Keith Brooking and Warrick Dunn.
They have class.

Michael Vick is a thug, plain and simple.

One more comment: One can do better than how one was "brought up." If fingering a crowd that pays you 140 million dollars is allowed, then how you were "brought up" is in question. Kids see that stuff. Ever see the New York fans? They pay to get to do that for losing.
