"IF YOU PURCHASED MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS OR BOOK ORDERS TWO NIGHTS AGO FROM TWO TEENAGE GIRLS SAYING IT WAS FOR A SOCCER TEAM FUND RAISER THEN YOU ARE A VICTIM OF A SCAM.

THE FAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF ARRESTED THEM AT MILL POND MANOR LATER THAT NIGHT. CALL THE SHERIFFS OFFICE TO CLAIM YOUR SELF AS A FRUAD VICTIM. THE GIRLS WERE OPERATING UNDER THE NAME KAYS NATURALS, LLC. FRIENDS OF OURS AT MILL POND MANOR ALERTED ME TO THIS FACT."

Yes, it is a scam. And, unfortunately, it is bigger than just Millpond Manor. The PTC police have also been arresting these scammers. Sometimes they claim to be fund-raising for the Lightning Soccer Teams. Sometimes not. They almost always will say that your neighbor just bought such-and-such, or that they are friends of so-and-so. If you don't want to buy a magazine, they may just ask for an out-right donation. If anyone comes to your door selling MAGAZINES, please pay close attention to their description and which way they go from your door, and as soon as they leave, call 770-461-4357 (the non-emergency number for all the police/fire departments).
