When did you post this?

Allison Krauss is great. I'll have to check it out.

I play a bit of slide--both acoustic and electric--but am not terrific. Influences are the likes of Robert Johnson and Duane Allman. I also love the fingerpicking style of Chet Atkins.

Try some Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits fame.

He can make it sing & cry.

Not acoustic, I'm not sure what you would call it, blues?

What he can do with a guitar should be illegal.

I'm listening to the "Brother in Arms" CD as I type this.

I went to a Jeff Beck concert at the FOX a while back. I have been listening to R&R a long time and I don't mind loud.

He's fantastic but to totally enjoy the concert, I had to leave my third row seat and listen to the rest in the lobby where the decible level was acceptable.

GREAT concert and musician though!!!

There are many great musicians. Jeff Beck definitely makes the list.

As for my avatar, it's the front cover to Peter Gabriels Secret World Live CD.

I have no info. on the technique that was used to create it or the artist.

We need a definition of the gernerally supposed use of what is a blog and what is a comment. This site is awful in that one can't go to it once a day and see everything and read everybody. Something just isn't right!
