I have been raised the right way. Not the spoiled Peachtree City way. Well I think the moral of this story is don't get "messed up" if you can't control yourself. No case involving date or acquaintance rape or assault is ever a 'done deal' in the real world. That's why so few are successfully prosecuted. Police will not arrest someone a year later on a "she said" a year after the alleged event.

Now, what DOES the DNA prove? Does it prove that someone had sex with the victim? Likely does, though the story is vague on that point. The issue is whether this was a consensual(legal) encounter or not(illegal, rape). DNA in of itself doesn't mean a whole lot in this case unless someone is claiming there was never an encounter of any kind and ooops, that's your DNA.

All Munford did was report the FACTS. He didn't say whether the suspect arrested was guilty or not. He simply reported that the PD arrested a rape suspect and said suspect was being held on bond in jail.

I was at the Starr's Mill H.S. game last night with my two daughters.
