The next PTC tragedy

I'll bet you four bags of peanut M&M's that the city council somehow feels that they have to build high density and take possession of the peach pit dump (a PCDC jewel) on the westside. They will say something like, "We don't have enough information."

Logsdon is a fraud, and I can't really say about the other council members. One thing is for sure, the local residents keep getting pounded with every decision they make.

They/we are getting pounded by their lack of decisions. Clueless, yes. Fraud, maybe. Indecisive, oh boy - you bet!

Doubt very much they will push density and it appears they won't fight it either - even when it is in Coweta County. Look what they did (or didn't do) on the TDK extension. Just let it slide until the land sale goes through, even though for a few days they had the power to kill it.

Sure Logsdon seems out of league, but so did George Bush at first and he sure turned out all right - in fact history will show him to be in the top 10 of greatest presidents ever. Logsdon may have to settle for being in the top 8 mayors Peachtree City ever had.

I'm starting to view the city council in the same light as I view congress: If an earthquake swallowed them whole, would we care? We certainly couldn't be any worse off.

Their move on TDK was sickening. Mayor Logsdon's promises of bold leadership amount to what is probably his biggest lie to date. Meaningless political maneuvering (eg. not taking a vote on TDK) so that they can later say, "We didn't approve the road," is about as low as it gets. Everyone will know they are responsible.
