On Friday the Sandy Creek Patriot football team will be travelling to Thomasville, Ga. to face the TCC Yellow Jackets in the Quarterfinal Round of the AAAA Playoffs.

Wednesday night around 10:00pm my wife and I were on our way back from BJ's Wholesale with a load of Gatorade for our Youth League games on Saturday. When I made the turn from 54 onto 74 the load shifted and half my pallette of Gatorade fell into the street.

This past weekend the GHSA State Wrestling Championship tournament was held at the Gwinett Arena. Every high school in Fayette County had at least one wrestler who placed in the Top 6 of their weight class. All totaled Fayette County High Schools qualified 27 wrestlers for the State Tournament, with 13 of them placing.

I'd just like to give a little press to Grand Coffee in Tyrone.

The SCHS Chorus is going to perform at Carnegie Hall in April and Pinky, the owner of Grand Coffee in Tyrone, offered up her establishment for us to use for one of our fundraisers.

Wrestlers move on from state sectionals - The wrestling teams from Fayette County sent a number of wrestlers to the Class AAAA West Sectionals last weekend and many of them performed well.
