DarthDubious: Over 201 million prescriptions were written for antidepressents in the US alone last year

DarthDubious's picture

I'm getting really sick of this:

Side effects of these drugs include: mania, insomnia, anxiety, agitation, confusion, amnesia, depression [one of my personal favorites for an antidepressant] , paranoid reaction, psychosis, hostility, delirium, hallucinations, abnormal thinking, depersonalization, and lack of emotion, among others. Two horrible ones being "homicidal ideation" and "suicidal ideation", which in layman's terms mean the drug puts the idea in your head that homicide and suicide are good ideas. There's accounts of these a little later.

Money, issued in such a way, would derive its value in exchange from the fact that it had come from the highest legal source in the nation and would be declared legal to pay all public and private debts.

DarthDubious: Billions for Bankers--Debts for the People Part 5: Yes, it's political too!

DarthDubious's picture

Democrat, Republican, and independent voters who have wondered why politicians always spend more tax money than they take in should now see the reason. When they begin to study our money system, they soon realize that these politicians are not the agents of the people but are the agents of the bankers, for whom they plan ways to place the people further in debt.

DarthDubious's picture

You say, "This is terrible!" Yes, it is, but we have shown only part of the sordid story. Under this unholy system, those United States Bonds have now become "assets" of the banks in the Reserve System which they then use as "reserves" to "create" more "credit" to lend. Current "reserve" requirements allow them to use that $1 billion in bonds to "create" as much as $15 billion in new "credit" to lend to states, municipalities, to individuals and businesses.

DarthDubious: Billions for Bankers--Debts for the People Part 3: Bankers' Depression of the 1930's

DarthDubious's picture

In 1930 America did not lack industrial capacity, fertile farmlands, skilled and willing workers or industrious families. It had an extensive and efficient transportation system in railroads, road networks, and inland and ocean waterways. Communications between regions and localities were the best in the world, utilizing telephone, teletype, radio, and a well operated government mail system.

DarthDubious: Billions for Bankers--Debts for the People Part 2: The Real Story of Money Control in America

DarthDubious's picture

Americans, living in what is called the richest nation on earth, seem always to be short of money. It's impossible for many families to make ends meet unless both parents are in the work force.

Introduction

In 1901 the national debt of the United States was less than $1 billion. It stayed at less than $1 billion until we got into World War I. Then it jumped to $25 billion.

The few plunder the many.

Everybody plunders everybody.

Nobody plunders anybody.

Let us examine the life of Jesus Christ. First of all the Christmas story taught by Christendom is a spot on pagan lie. Remember, they have adopted the teachings of the Roman Gnostic Christian sect and are apostate.

DarthDubious: Christendom’s Fraud

DarthDubious's picture

Now that we have entered the seasons of thanks and giftgiving, I will shed some light upon the two greatest spiritual frauds ever perpetrated, and that continue to mislead humankind down the path of debt and destruction: Christmas, and Easter. Ask yourself how much money is spent in the course of just these two “Holy” days? Yes, commerce loves these celebrations.

"For those who thought a Democratic congress would end the war in Iraq, think again: their new budget proposes supplemental funds totaling about $150 billion in 2008 and $50 billion in 2009 for Iraq. This is in addition to the ordinary Department of Defense budget of more than $500 billion, which the Democrats propose increasing each year just like the Republicans."

DarthDubious's picture

The founders of the United States were brilliant human beings who developed and left us a framework for existence that we continue to ignore to our detriment. The framework I am talking about, of course, is the Constitution. In the current economic crisis, the regime in D.C. is ignoring it by devising new ways to “stabilize” our economy. The harmful effects of which are already appearing.

DarthDubious: The Coming Economic Pandemic

DarthDubious's picture

Touted by the one worlders as the natural evolution of humanity, a world without borders is a world with no economic safety net. Previously, when one or more countries fell under sway of serious economic recessions or depressions, borders tended to confine the damage. With today’s retrenchment and redistribution of industry, no safety net is possible. When any significant country catches a cold, the rest of the world will sneeze. God forbid a fatal economic disease should rise up anywhere.

DarthDubious: Banker Bailout Bill Contains IRS Police State Provisions

DarthDubious's picture

Not only is the recently passed Banker Takeover bill larded up with pork, it also contains dictatorial provisions. In addition to making former Goldman Sachs chairman and current Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson an economic czar — a provision completely at odds with the Constitution — the bill grants police state powers to the IRS. Declan McCullagh writes for CNet:

DarthDubious: Bleak Outlook After Bailout: Only Harm for the Middle Class

DarthDubious's picture

Ronald Reagan said, “Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it”. Even before Bush’s Big Bank Bailout Bill was passed by Congress we were in the “subsidize it” phase of the cycle. We have been told by our “leaders” that more subsidizing through the bailout legislation is in the best interest of the millions of Americans in the middle class. It was done to preserve our savings accounts, education and retirement funds and to help small business in securing the necessary loans they need to survive. It was done to rescue us from economic calamity.

DarthDubious: The Root Cause of the "Financial Meltdown."

DarthDubious's picture

1775: the American Revolutionary War began. America sought to detach from England and its oppressive monarchy. Though many reasons are cited for the Revolution, one in particular sticks out as the prime cause: that King George III of England outlawed the interest free, independent currency the Colonies were producing and using for themselves, in turn forcing them to borrow money from the central “Bank of England”, at interest, immediately putting the Colonies into debt, and as Benjamin Franklin later wrote:

DarthDubious: A Call to Arms

DarthDubious's picture

America, we have reached the point of no return! The government of the United States is about to embark on a course that will prove to be ruinous for our country. This morning, Congress is jubilantly announcing a tentative agreement on the Wall Street bailout plan. The plan, if approved this week by the full Congress and signed by the President, is a betrayal of the constitutional oath taken by our leaders. It is a violation of the public trust and an extreme abuse of the fiduciary responsibilities that each member of Congress and the President has to the American people. In short, any member of Congress who votes for the measure is guilty of treason and should be dealt with accordingly.

DarthDubious: Read what Cong. Dr. Ron Paul has to say. I know it's long but worth the read. Thank You.

DarthDubious's picture

Dear Friends:

The financial meltdown the economists of the Austrian School predicted has arrived.

We are in this crisis because of an excess of artificially created credit at the hands of the Federal Reserve System. The solution being proposed? More artificial credit by the Federal Reserve. No liquidation of bad debt and mal-investment is to be allowed. By doing more of the same, we will only continue and intensify the distortions in our economy - all the capital mis-allocation, all the malinvestment - and prevent the market's attempt to re-establish rational pricing of houses and other assets.

DarthDubious: Time for Legal Notice to be served.

DarthDubious's picture

It is unreasonable to vote for the financial services bail out. The alleged crisis has been in an ever accelerated burn for more than a year yet only now do we have an emergency? Please reject nationalizing institutional losses and the continued privatization of profits. I think a better use of our currency would be to provide immediate foreclosure protection and to allow the banks, finance firms and investment bankers, to utterly fail. What are we saving with this bail out anyway?

DarthDubious: Letter from Congressman Ron Paul: Time is running out

DarthDubious's picture

September 24th, 2008 by Ron Paul

Dear Friends,

Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike.
