I, like most Americans, do not have Secret Service protection. But I do have a Georgia Firearms License which permits me to carry a concealed firearm – the only way to carry if you don’t want to spend a lot of time talking to law enforcement officers.

I was surprised to see him listed as a republican candidate for sheriff. Given that Republican Afro-Americans are quite rare I wonder if he was a republican while working in mostly democratic Detroit. Does anyone know if he supports other GOP candidates for office? Will he vote for McCain or the democratic nominee? And how does the black community view him, will they turn out in large numbers for a republican candidate? Or is he the type of politicians who will “be” or say anything he thinks will get him elected?

I was glad to read recently that the Supreme Court has realized that vampires are the only creatures that can’t be photographed and permitted Indiana’s photo ID requirement for voters to stand. For far too long these blood suckers have used documents sans pictures to pass as human and try to sway government for the benefit of the undead. Indiana passed the photo law after multiple voting, which is easy for shape-shifters, almost created a “free blood bank” in Gary, Indiana - a hotbed of vampirism. Now if the other states will follow suit we have a chance to drive these descendents of Dracula back to the caskets they came from. Or we could just close the polls before sunset.
