Rivalry heats up for Patriots and Panthers

Tuesday saw two titans in 4-AAA softball meet in a highly anticipated contest. The Starr's Mill Panthers hosted the Sandy Creek Patriots in what could be the championship matchup in this weekend's AAA area tournament. Both teams wanted to send a message to their opponents in what quickl became an incredible county rivalry. Sandy Creek edged out Starr's Mill by a score of 2-1 and the message was sent.

PTC girls help Eagles soar

The Emory Cross Country girls team is getting some help from some former McIntosh Chiefs. Nicola Craver and Rachel Olson, both from Peachtree City and McIntosh graduates, have ran well in the Eagles first three meets.

Chiefs keep serving up wins

The McIntosh Chiefs volleyball team continues to play good ball.

 

'87 Lazers win third straight Atlant Cup

Atlanta Cup sponsors retired the traveling U-13 trophy to the `87 Lazers team upon winning their third “Athena A Division” Atlanta Cup title over Labor Day weekend.
