Three local school
finished in the top 10 in their respective classifications in the final
2003-04 state coaches polls for high school wrestling.
Lacrosse
team continues unbeaten streak
The Peachtree City
high school lacrosse team established a foothold atop the North Georgia
Lacrosse League standings with a 15-6 victory over a previously unbeaten
Etowah squad last Sunday at Riley Field in Peachtree City. The win takes
PTC to a 2-0 record and a number-one power ranking for all high school
club lacrosse teams in Georgia.

squads post early wins
Soccer season is
here, and several local teams are off to a winning start.
Paddlers
to practice Sunday
The Peachtree City
Paddlers canoe and kayak club’s next indoor roll practice of the
season is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 29, from 5-7 p.m. at the Kedron
Aquatic Center in Peachtree City.
