Panthers, Tigers make final top 10

Three local school finished in the top 10 in their respective classifications in the final 2003-04 state coaches polls for high school wrestling.

According to georgiawrestling.net, the AAAAA poll saw Starr’s Mill in the fifth spot and Fayette County seventh. The top 10, in order, were Parkview, Collins Hill, Walton, Centennial, Starr’s Mill, McEachern, Fayette County, Lee County, and Camden County and Sequoyah tied for ninth.

Landmark finished eighth in the A poll, behind Jefferson, Bremen, Mt. Zion of Carroll, Trion, Treutlen, Pelham and Bowdon.
