Cross is offering a special program for coaches that teaches how to
prevent sports injuries and respond effectively if an emergency occurs.

Town auditions set
The
director of NCTC's record-breaking "To Kill A Mockingbird"
will be holding auditions for Thornton Wilder's "Our Town"
at Newnan Community Theatre at 7:30 on July 14 and 15. Auditions will
consist of cold readings from the script.The director asks that those
auditioning be prompt and know your conflicts and commitments through
the end of September.Rehearsals will generally be Monday, Tuesday and
Thursday evenings. More rehearsals may be expected on the week of opening.

PTC man stole, wrecked golf cart
A Peachtree City
man was arrested Friday night after he crashed a stolen golf cart into
a parked car in the Dover Square subdivision, according to police.
Brief
manhunt leads to forgery arrest on bad check case
A homeless man was
arrested Thursday afternoon after bolting from a lawman investigating
a bad check report at a gas station on Ga. Highway 85 north, police
said.
