On June 6, U.S. District Court Judge Robert Vining issued a written order approving a settlement agreement between the Fulton County Board of Education and the plaintiffs in the long-running Hightower v. Westschool desegregation case

Roadside vending curtailed in Fulton

At its June 4 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution proposed by Vice Chairman William "Bill" Edwards to enact a moratorium on roadside vending permits in South Fulton.
