The DIAL telephone number, 404-730-6900 or 404-730-4137 (TTY), is operated by the Fulton County Human Services Department's Office of Disability Affairs (ODA).

The ODA's Information and Referral Specialist will answer calls weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. After hours, callers can leave a message.

"This single, dedicated phone line will be a 'lifeline' for many people," says Marc Henson, ODA Director. "It will enhance our ability to disseminate valuable information about ADA-required services and provisions that can improve the quality of life for people with disabilities."

The Office of Disability Affairs, created by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners in 1992, provides these services: Training, Technical Assistance, Compliance Monitoring, and Information & Referrals.

The 1990 Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination based on disability.
