African American Cowboy visits Camp Creek Middle School

Lacey Curry, the owner of Henderson Arena in College Park, visited three sixth grade classrooms at Camp Creek recently to talk about African American cowboys. The students had been doing research on various famous cowboys, and Curry came to add information. He showed a video on rodeos and described cowboy attire. Since Henderson Arena sponsors both African American and Latin American rodeos, Curry described those events also.

Workshops scheduled for home buyers

Brayson Homes will host Home Buyers Workshops this Saturday, April 26, at the model homes in three of its communities: Carlton Chase in Dacula, Deer Creek in Union City, and Bellaire at SummerGrove in Newnan.
