Rodeo coming this weekend By MICHAEL BOYLAN
The Southern K Ranch, located at 2950 DeMooney Road in College Park, will present the South Fulton Community Rodeo and Festival on Friday and Saturday, Apr. 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. The events that the rodeo will include are Ladies Barrel Racing, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Bareback Riding, Ladies Steer Undecorating and Youth Barrel Racing. There will also be fun, food, games and pony rides. Friday night is Christian and Family Night with group discounts. Advance tickets for the rodeo are $8 and include raffle prizes, while tickets at the gate are $10 and $5 for children under the age of 16. Children under the age of 4 are admitted for free. Advance tickets are availabe at Wiliams Barbershop, 3820 Stonewall Tell Rd. in College Park and Dutch Cuts and Styles, 7533 Ga. Highway 85 in Riverdale. To get to the Southern K Ranch, take I-85 to Exit 64, West Jonesboro Highway/138 through town. Stay on 138 to DeMooney Rd. for about 7.2 miles. Turn right and follow the signs.
