Soccer teams get early season wins

Once again the conditions were not great for soccer, but local teams battled their opponents and the weather. Starr's Mill's girls got a 5-0 win over Kennesaw Mountain . Freshman Kelly O'Hara scored a hat trick in the span of two minutes halfway through the first half. Sarah Burke scored the fourth goal right before the half. In the second half captain Lindsay Anderson scored the fifth and final goal.

Track season starts off on right foot

This past Saturday, the Landmark Christian boys and girls track teams competed well in their first outdoor meet of the season: the Collins Hill Icebreaker Invitational. Running against primarily 5A schools, the Landmark boys team finished fifth overall, with 38 points, and the girls finished second overall, with 88 points (only seven points behind the winner, Shiloh).

Lady War Eagles end season in semifinals

The season has come to an end for the Landmark Christian School varsity girls basketball team. The Lady War eagles won three games in the state tournament before being eliminated on Wednesday night.
