See Paris through the eyes of the Impressionists

Paris is known as the City of Lights, and those fascinated by the city can see how artists saw it as it became the city it is by visiting the High Museum in Atlanta.

Fox Theatre brings in two Broadway classics

The Fox Theatre will host two classic musicals over the next two weeks thanks to Theater of the Stars, which is celebrating their 50th anniversary. "Annie" will run through Jan. 19 and "Cats" will run Jan. 21-26.

Organist Ken Cowan performs at Spivey Hall

Registration for Father-Daughter Dance underway

The Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Dept will sponsor the third annual Father-Daughter Dance Saturday, Feb. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Gathering Place off McIntosh Trail. Registration begins Jan. 15. Plan on registering early; last year the event sold out in three days.

Mike's book club

When I'm not in the office writing up all of the local weekend and sports news I can get my hands on, I'm at home either playing video games or reading. Lately, it has been more of the latter.
