Woman pleads innocent to murder

A Jonesboro woman accused of killing an innocent Peachtree City motorist in a crash while she was being chased by police last July pleaded not guilty to murder and vehicular homicide charges in court Friday morning.

Fayetteville lights up for holidays Nov. 30

Fayetteville's tenth annual Christmas Tree Lighting, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30, will officially mark the beginning of the Main Street holiday season.

My friend Sam Orr is pastor of Hardwick Baptist Church near my hometown of Milledgeville. His parents, Sam and Doris, are part of our congregation and I'm privileged to be their pastor. Sam recently wrote in his church newsletter an article about "marvelling" and I thought Thanksgiving time was a good occasion to pause and marvel at God's many blessings.
