Peachtree City earned the applicant a gentle scolding from the City
Council at its regular meeting last week.
Adopt-A-Park
program still going strong
Twenty parks or
tot lots have been adopted by a total of 28 residents, groups or organizations
since the Peachtree City Adopt-A-Park program began in April 2000.
The
Peachtree City Recreation Department has chosen to honor those individuals
in the community who constantly put their lives on the line and help
make up the country's homeland defense. Representatives from the Fire
Department and the Police Department will serve as an ambassadors and
ride as Grand Marshals in the 4th of July parade.
Coweta
will see some new faces after Nov. election
When
the dust settles after the November 5 election, Coweta County residents
will see a changing of the guard on the County Commission and Board
of Education.
