Starr's Mill's swim teams defeat McIntosh

Starr's Mill and Mcintosh's boys and girls swim teams faced off at the Kedron Aquatic Center last Friday. The Panthers came away with the win after the boys defeated McIntosh 169-109 and the girls won 155-123.

Patriots and Chiefs get wins on Tuesday

All of the local basketball teams were in action on Tuesday night and the results were mixed. McIntosh's boys and girls and Sandy Creek's boys and girls swept their games, while Starr's Mill's boys and girls lost their games.

Rising Starr places second in MMSAL wrestling championship

The Metro Middle School Athletic League had their league wrestling championships last weekend. The league consists of the six middle schools from Henry County and five from Fayette County. Henry County Middle School placed first but Rising Starr Middle School, which won the county meet the previous weekend, placed second and Whitewater Middle School placed third.
