returns to see Patriots win big
High
school students will have their Christmas breaks start this week and
most athletes will have a tournament either this weekend or next to
keep the rust off. Over this past weekend, McIntosh and Sandy Creek's
boys got two wins, while the Lady Patriots split.
Wrestling
teams grapple in tournaments
The local high schools
had some big wrestling tournaments over the weekend. McIntosh and Starr's
Mill hosted tournaments, while Sandy Creek and Fayette County traveled
to them.
Starr's
Mill will host a Christmas basketball tournament starting tonight
and both their boys and girls teams will be competing for the tournament
title.
School is out
for a few weeks and there are two local camps that will help keep
the young area athletes entertained. If your child is into golf or
baseball, there is a camp out there for them.
