Regular season ends tonight

The regular season of high school football ends tonight and the biggest game for our local teams takes place at Newnan High School's Drake Stadium. Starr's Mill (7-2) will face the Newnan Cougars (7-2) in a win-and-you're-in situation. The victor will head to the state playoffs and the loser will have to start planning for next year.

Tickets still available for race weekend

The Winston Cup series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway this Sunday with the NAPA 500. There will be lots of racing action to entertain fans all weekend though, starting on Friday with practice laps and qualifying.
