Two local Chinese
restaurants have been closed after federal authorities executed search
warrants earlier this week in an investigation into the smuggling and
harboring of illegal immigrants to use as restaurant employees.

action has yet been taken regarding a proposed fair dismissal policy
for Fayette County School System teachers, members of the Board of Education
have made it clear that they want to protect teachers and plan to implement
