The drkoop.com USTA Women's Championships of Peachtree City are continuing through Sunday. The action, so far, has been as intense as the heat. Several players from the area have been faring well in both the singles and doubles play.

Southern All Stars invade Senoia Speedway

Last Saturday, the Southern All Stars invaded Senoia Speedway for a special Late Model Series race. Scott Griffin of Tyrone led for 108 laps until his car could go no further.

Brewers keep on rolling through postseason

The 13 and 14 year old Sharpsburg Brewers recently finished an undefeated regular season and headed to the District Tournament held at Rex Park. The team, managed by Mark Taylor, played four games in five days at the tournament and remain undefeated.
